1965 Maserati Sebring II

1965 MASERATI 3500GTI SEBRING II COUPE BY VIGNALE

Introduced to the market in 1962, the Maserati Sebring would mark the final generation of the 3500GT series cars. A genuine Italian GT 2+2, the model’s moniker was in honor of Maserati’s victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1957. The Sebring’s stunning appearance was first penned by Giovanni Michelotti who previously designed the 3500 GT Spyder through coachbuilder Vignale of Turin. A steel tubular chassis served as the backbone and held the front independent suspension, live rear axle and four wheel disc brakes. The model was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1962 and was a sensational success. By now Lucas Fuel Injection was standard equipment and allowed for performance driving in mountain altitude. The interior was lavishly appointed with full leather, power windows and optional equipment including air conditioning. 1965 saw the introduction of the slightly restyled Series II Sebring that featured more modern exterior lights and a retuned 3.5 liter dual overhead cam engine. Wildly coveted by enthusiasts and collectors alike, the Sebring Series II Coupes have a special pedestal in Maserati history for being the final Trident 2+2 coupe to feature the legendary 3500 engine. Only approximately 93 were built before 1967 and examples today are typically only found in some of the world’s most premiere collections.

Finished in stunning Azzurro Vincennes with an impeccably-kept Senape leather interior, this beautiful 1965 Maserati 3500 GTi Sebring Coupe by Vignale has been cosmetically restored and is believed to only have traveled 14,477 miles from new. This Series II Sebring was delivered in August 1965 to its first owner in Rome, Italy and until a few years ago was residing in the Netherlands. Still propelled by its numbers matching 3500 GTi engine, this desirable Series II Sebring is accompanied by a certificate from Maserati Classiche and would make a welcome addition to any prominent collection. We are proud to offer what we believe to be one of the very best examples of this rare and desirable model to be found on the market today. Ready to make an investment that you can actually enjoy? Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. 1960 MASERATI 3500 GT COUPE BY TOURING

From 1952 through to 1957, Maserati cleaned up on the race track, winning seven World Championships and dominating Formula One, in large part due to lead driver Juan-Manuel Fangio. Emphasis then moved to road cars of the gran turismo class when the 3500 GT was introduced in 1957 at Geneva. The 3500 GT was powered by a 220-brake horsepower, hemi-head, 3,485-cubic centimetre inline six-cylinder, and it was available as either a 2+2 coupé or convertible. The coupé was wrapped in an aluminium superleggera body by Touring of Milan, whilst the convertible body was by Vignale.

The 1960 Maserati 3500 GT Coupe by Touring featured here is finished in stunning Dark Rosso Red with a beautiful black leather interior. This low mileage, highly original 3500 GT is one of just 257 examples produced and one of less than 75 examples remaining, making this Maserati one of the rarest in the world. Further, this magnificent motorcar was recently released from a large prominent collection and then underwent a full service by marque specialists that included a complete fuel system, brake system, and lubrication system overhaul. Accompanying this investment-grade 1960 Maserati 3500 GT is its Maserati Classiche documentation as well as its owner’s manual. Seeing an Italian car from the 60’s with this level of originality is sure to make even the most discerning collector swoon. We are proud to offer this exceptional carbureted Maserati 3500 GT to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who only wants the best.Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. The Quattroporte Sport GT variant offers several performance upgrades: faster shifting transmission and firmer Skyhook suspensions thanks to new software calibrations, seven-spoke 20 inch wheels with low-profile tires, cross-drilled brake rotors and braided brake lines. This four-door sports luxury 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT is accompanied by its warranty service booklets, service records, and more. 1973 Maserati Indy 4900

1973 MASERATI INDY 4900

By the late 1960’s production of the Maserati Mexico and Quattroporte models began to slow and the factory searched for a similarly shaped, newly styled 4-seater compliment model for the well-received Ghibli. The Maserati Indy made its debut in 1969 and featured a Vignale built body wrapped around the then proven performance of Maserati’s quad-cam V8 engine. Initially in 4.2 liter form, the engine displacement increased twice during production. Minor styling and interior differences distinguish the models from each other. With beautiful lines, seating for four, power steering and plenty of luggage space beneath the rear glass hatch the Indy was a success and 1,104 were built between 1969 and 1975. While the Ghibli offered thrills for the senses, the Indy was a more practical, driver friendly model that was perhaps best described by Journalist Paul Frère as “very fast and very bourgeois.”

1973 introduced the 4900 model with the increased 4.9 liter quad-cam V8 now pushing well over 300 horsepower. The 1973 model also did away with the traditional servo-assisted braking system in favor for Citroën’s proven high pressure pump system. An upgraded air conditioning system was also fitted that placed less stress on the engine and kept the cabin and its passengers cool. Minor styling changes appeared with a redesigned hood grill and refined dashboard that allowed the driver a better line of sight to the instruments. Only 300 of the well featured Indy 4900’s were produced, making them the rarest and most desired Indy model.

The example featured here is finished in rare and desirable Blue Ischia with an impeccably kept Parchment leather interior. This stunning Maserati is among one of the finest examples we’ve had the pleasure of offering in many years. It was recently acquired from a prominent California Museum collection and comes fully documented with its Maserati Classiche, books, original brochures and more. We’re proud to offer this extremely rare late 4.9L Indy to the most sophisticated collector, investor or enthusiast who understands and appreciates this up-and-coming classic. Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013 and posting gains of 395-percent over the last 10-years. Ready to make an investment you can actually enjoy? Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for more information. 1962 MASERATI 3500 GTi SUPERLEGGERA COUPE

Introduced at the Geneva auto show in 1957, the Maserati 3500 GT was produced through 1964. More than 2,200 of these sleek 2+2 pillarless coupes were built, each one a tribute to the racing heritage of one of Italy’s most storied car builders. The 3500 GT’s alloy body was styled by Carozzeria Touring and utilized the firm’s famous Superleggera lightweight construction techniques. A derivative of the engine designed for the world championship-winning Maserati Tipo 250F Formula 1 racer, the 3500 GT’s 3.5-Liter DOHC six-cylinder engine produced 240-hp in carbureted form. The 1961-1964 production was equipped with a ZF five-speed manual transmission, replacing the 4-speed used earlier. The GTi designation arrived in 1962—the “i” signifying Lucas-sourced fuel injection, introduced that year.

This example is finished in stunning Argento Auteil Metallic with a beautifully preserved black leather interior, this magnificent motorcar is among one of the finest original 3500 GTIs we have seen in years. It was recently purchased from an avid collector with the help of Wayne Carini, who stated, “this 3500 is one of the best I’ve ever driven”. It still retains its original Lucas mechanical fuel injection system, making this well-documented 3500 GTI the one to own. We are proud to offer this exceptional 3500 to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciate this great classic. Ready to make an investment that you can actually enjoy? According to Motortrend, the classic car market has recently shown more growth than hedge funds with projected returns of 161% after five years and a whopping 467% after a decade. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for more information. They will be happy to give you a complete walk-around, supply you with a more detailed description, and answer any questions that you may have. Bid with confidence.

1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 Coupe

1974 MASERATI BORA 4.9 COUPE

With its rich racing heritage, Maserati has a long and storied tradition of producing beautifully designed and fast GT coupes for discerning enthusiasts. In 1970, it returned to the mid-engine concept it had considered earlier in the 1960s. Now under Citröen’s control, Maserati embarked upon a completely different direction. In March 1971, the Maserati Bora was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, and once again, Maserati selected the name of a wind for its dramatic Giorgetto Giugiaro-designed (Ital Design) mid-engine GT. The Bora featured a sporty but comfortable air-conditioned passenger cabin and a sophisticated, innovative chassis. Citröen encouraged high-pressure hydraulics for the windows, pop-up headlights, adjustable pedal box, plus vented disc brakes. With its ultimate 320 bhp, 4.9-liter V-8 and five-speed gearbox, the Bora was capable of zero-to-60 times of 6.6 seconds and a 170-mph top speed. Upon its launch, Le Mans champion and noted journalist Paul Frère described the Maserati Bora in these terms: “The Bora is one of the fastest cars on the market at the moment, but its charm lies mostly in the tranquil ease with which it reveals its prowess. A true aristocrat, indeed”. Road and Track Magazine also called it “one of the best-handling cars money can buy” while praising the communicative steering and well-sorted suspension. Just 564 Boras were built from 1971 to 1980, with 275, including this car, powered by a 320 bhp, 4,930 cc mid-mounted V-8 engine, ZF five-speed manual rear transaxle, four-wheel independent suspension with unequal-length A-arms, coil springs, anti-roll bars, and hydraulic four-wheel disc brakes.

The 1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 Coupe offered here is an original California car finished in stunning Rosso Corsa Red with a Senape leather interior and has been driven just 36,621 miles from new. This classic car was purchased in the 1990’s by a California Collector who would go on to own the car for close to two decades and is likely responsible for the vehicle’s thorough restoration. After its release from this collection, it was purchased by a Marque Specialist in California who gave the car a thorough mechanical service before passing it on to another collector last year. Since that time, it has only accumulated 132 more miles and still runs as good as it looks. This magnificent 1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 Coupe is one of the finest examples we have seen in years! We are proud to offer what we believe to be one of the best Boras on the market today, to the most particular collector or enthusiast who appreciates low miles and superior condition. Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. These wheels were just treated to a full restoration by Dayton Wire Wheel with all new stainless spokes, and hand polished to mirror-like finish. This car also possesses many desirable features only seen on early cars: such as the dash toggle switches as opposed to the later rocker switches, the small steering wheel hub in the genuine Secura wood wheel, and gorgeous Veglia gauges. Fully documented with factory correspondence, this car’s provenance is unquestionable. Do not miss this opportunity to acquire one of the finest 1967 Maserati Ghiblis available anywhere. 1973 MASERATI BORA 4.9
Very few lucky people have ever had the opportunity to experience a Maserati Bora. Only and handful of cars have ever risen to the level of performance and exclusivity attained by the Bora, a car which possess performance as wicked as its Giugetto styling is mesmerizing and timeless. Seeing this car in the flesh is the only way to truly appreciate its stunning good looks and the 4.9-liter DOHC V-8 being fed by four Weber carburetors with its raucous staccato must be heard to be believed. This beautiful 1973 Maserati Bora 4.9 has led a truly charmed existence, having traveled only 20,310 miles and still possessing its original books, manuals, and extensive service records – including a documented bare metal restoration and repaint along the way. With only 275 examples of the 4.9-liter Bora ever produced, you are unlikely to ever see one on the road – somewhat of a shame because this is a true drivers’ car, but one that also pampers its occupants with rich leather and air conditioning while obtaining unadvisable speeds. A car of this magnitude and charisma does not come up for sale often. Do not miss this opportunity to acquire one of the most fantastic cars to ever built, an Italian thoroughbred if there ever was one. In addition, according to Knight Frank’s Wealth Report, classic cars were the top-performing collectible asset with prices surging 23-percent in the 12-months ending in the third quarter of 2012, and posting gains of 395-percent over 10-years. Named after the hot and fiery wind of the Egyptian desert, the Khamsin is a work of art burdened with poor timing; having arrived on the supercar scene just as the oil crisis was unfolding around the world.
