  • The 1937 Packard 120 Touring Sedan featured here is finished in stunning Aztec Olivine Brown over a wonderfully preserved tan interior. This particular example spent many years in Colorado and, more recently, was just released from a private Packard Museum in Michigan. Today this Packard remains largely original, displaying only 58,857 actual miles and is exhibiting the type of patina that one would expect to see on an unrestored 80-year-old motorcar. This stunning Packard is accompanied by various receipts and invoices that date back to the mid-1970s, which document the mileage in addition to some of the meticulous care that it has received throughout its life. We are proud to offer this largely original 15th series Packard 120 Touring Sedan to the most astute collector, investor, or enthusiast who appreciates the legacy of this great American marque. Ready to make an investment that you can actually enjoy? Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years, with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014, and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Please contact one of our expert sales consultants for more information. They will be happy to give you a complete walk-around, supply you with a more detailed description, and answer any questions you may have. Buy with confidence.

HISTORY OF THE PACKARD 120 TOURING SEDAN
Packard unveiled the 15th series for 1937 at the National Automobile Show in October of 1936. To raise an appeal, the company heavily marketed the phrase “finer cars at lower prices.” A new 6-cylinder (internally classified as the 115-C) drew a lot of praise for its innovation and comfort level that Packard customers were accustomed to. The Packard 120 8-cylinder models appeared virtually the same as the 6-cylinder 115 models except for the interior, which was more lavishly appointed. With both the 6 cylinder and the 120 models drawing up so much interest, Packard offered an incredible array of different bodies and styles to choose from. Body style 1092, the 120 Touring Sedan, proved to be a popular model that offered practicality, luxury, style, and speed at a modest price. Packard’s strategy paid off in 1937 with sales of the 115-C and the 120 leading to Packard’s largest production year ever. Today, the Packard 120 models are praised in collector car circles, with unrestored examples proving highly desirable.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
