The magnificent 1958 Porsche 356A 1600 Super Cabriolet by Reutter featured here is finished in stunning Ruby Red over a gorgeous black leather interior and black folding convertible top. This incredible motorcar has been comprehensively restored with no expense spared and is one of only 23 examples of a Porsche 356’s to come equipped from the factory with highly desirable and sought-after Rudge wheels. The car is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming its super pedigree and production, as well as its Rudge wheels and USA bumpers. If you’re well versed in classic German Marques, then you’ll undoubtedly recognize the name on these knock-off-style wheels and the serious values they command. With original Porsche 356 Rudge wheelsets valued in excess of $75,000 today. This all numbers matching (including the original date code correct wheels), investment-grade 1958 Porsche 356A is among one of the best examples to be found on the market today and would be a great addition to any premier collection. We are extremely proud to offer this stunning 1958 Porsche 356A 1600 Super Cabriolet by Reutter to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who only wants the best!
The 356 was created by Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche, son of Ferdinand Porsche Senior. Originally conceived as a small, lightweight sports car that shared design characteristics of the Porsche-designed Volkswagen Beetle that was developed prior to World War II. Believed to have taken its name from being the three hundred and fifty-sixth Porsche design, the 356 was the first automobile to bear the Porsche name. Production began in 1948, with the first cars being built with aluminum bodies and constructed in Austria; production eventually switched to Germany after Porsche contracted Reutter Coachworks to build the 356 bodies. In 1951, the 356 took a class win at LeMans, and thanks to the efforts of U.S. Importer, Max Hoffman, the Porsche brand had won over motoring enthusiasts from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Of all the 356 variants one of the most coveted is the Reutter bodied Cabriolet. While available during the entire 356 productions, most are quick to point out that the Reutter lines compliment the first generation 356A the best. The low sitting headlamps and bumpers give a particularly sporty appearance, especially with the Cabriolet top in the lowered position. These stunning design elements ensure the collectability and the desirability of the Reutter 356A Cabriolet for years to come.

Finance rates as low as 5.9%.
We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.
We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.
Terms available up to 144 Months

Condition Disclaimer
All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. We do not manufacture our product. Each vehicle’s brand has its strengths, styles, tendencies, and shortcomings.
