  • Named for its original 300 hp HEMI V8 engine, Chrysler’s C-300 caused a sensation in showrooms across the nation when it debuted in 1955. The design successfully married lines from both the Imperial and the New Yorker, which had been previous successful models for the Chrysler group. The new model was billed as “America’s Most Powerful Car” and the 300 backed up that claim with numerous checkered flags on NASCAR tracks. Beginning in 1956, the 300 became the 300B and began what was known as the “letter series” that would run for a decade. 1961 marked the introduction of the seventh series 300, the 300G which was the last to showcase designer Virgil Exner’s “Forward Look.” The 300G was the first to feature canted headlamps and the only 300 to match this front end with Exner’s signature fins. Power for the 300G was derived from the 375 horsepower 413 cubic inch V8 with a cross ram intake that propelled the 300G from 0-60 mph in only eight seconds. Only 337 300G convertibles were built for 1961 and of those only 124 are accounted for today.

The 1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible featured here is finished in extremely rare and desirable all black with a beautiful light tan interior and matching convertible top. This magnificent 1961 Chrysler 300G Convertible has been beautifully restored, was recently serviced and is ready to be shown and driven. It is documented by the 300 Registry as one of only 337 built and is one of only 122 known to exist.  Dubbed “America’s Grand Touring Automobile”, it is loaded with power features and amenities including power steering, power top, power windows, push button Torque Flite automatic transmission, console tachometer and much more. This 1961 Chrysler 300G would make a great addition to any prominent collection and we are proud to offer this investment-grade Chrysler to the most sophisticated collector, investor or enthusiast who understands the rarity and the beauty of this great American classic. Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
