  • Porsche’s legendary 911 is now one of the most recognizable car designs, even after 60 years. The 911 was a sensation when introduced at the 1963 Frankfurt Auto Show, and production began a year later. It was the first all-Porsche design and boasted features such as a five-speed gearbox developed from the 904 and four-wheel disc brakes.

Slightly longer than the 356 but with a small track; it featured a 1,991 cc SOHC air-cooled, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine with two Solex triple-throat carburetors that developed 130 bhp, resulting in a top speed of 209 km/h. The superlatives from road testers revealed just how good the 911 was. Road & Track called it ‘the Porsche to end all Porsches’ and ‘one of the best Gran Turismo cars in the world’. It summed up that the 356’s replacement was ‘superior in every respect…the stuff legends are made of.’ The first six months of production sold out instantly, leaving lengthy waiting lists.

This magnificent example was among those in the first full year of production and left the factory on November 24, 1965; finished in gorgeous Polo Red over Black leatherette interior. Highly optioned with factory electric sunroof, optional headrest, 2 seatbelts, Blaupunkt radio, Webasto Heater and fitted with Dunlop 165/15 tires. Delivered new via the Porsche European delivery program on November 26, 1965, to its new owner Dr. Robert Scheuer of New York, USA. Purchased by its second owner in 1972, who meticulously cared for it for the next 49 years. Incredible opportunity to acquire what we believe to be one of the very best and well-equipped early 911s on the market today. I personally believe the investment potential of this great marquee will grow beyond your imagination!! Offered to the most sophisticated collector, investor or enthusiast who understands and appreciates these early 911's.

Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years, with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014, and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Financing

Finance rates as low as 5.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
