  • The Porsche “soft-window” Targa configuration was a true example of innovation from the vaunted German manufacturer. First revealed on a Porsche 911 in 1966, the Targa was designed to allow owners to experience open-air exhilaration without compromising safety; the latter a real concern as the belief at the time was incoming American safety regulations would effectively ban the traditional cabriolet. To do so, they devised the Targa, a compromise that quickly became an enduring addition to the Porsche model range. While later models had a fixed glass rear window, the first Targa models paired their signature removable roof panel with a fold-away plastic rear “soft” window, an extremely desirable configuration today due to its rarity.

The magnificent Porsche 912 ‘soft-window’ Targa featured here is finished in gorgeous Signal Red over Black with a matching Black Targa and soft top. This exceptional example was delivered new by Brumos Porsche to its first owner on May 31, 1968 who cared for the car for nearly 2 decades before selling it to its second owner, a Porsche Club of America member. When it changed hands again to its third owner, this 912 received a show-level restoration. This investment-grade Porsche still retains its original matching numbers engine and is among one of the nicest examples we’ve seen in years. Extremely low production and high desirability makes this the perfect car to add to any premier collection. I personally the investment potential of this ultra-rare Porsche will grow beyond your imagination! This remarkable Porsche is ideal for even the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiasts who understand and appreciate the investment potential of this iconic Porsche.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.
