  • The magnificent 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster featured here is finished in stunning factory color combination of British Racing Green with a green leather interior and new black folding convertible top. This particular example is among one of the finest XKE’s we have ever had the pleasure of offering. It was acquired in 1971 by an enthusiast that reputedly kept the car in dry storage for 25 years and passed the Jaguar to his nephew in 2009. In 2010 noted Jaguar restorer Gary Nye of Basically British began a full nut and bolt restoration that included a new interior and paintwork in the factory correct shade of British Racing Green. In 2015 the numbers matching 4.2 litre XK engine was rebuilt by the experts of Coventry West in Georgia which cost more than $10,000. This E-type performs as well as it presents and is accompanied by an incredible amount of documentation including the original books, original warranty card (complete with the business card from the sales manager at the selling dealership), over $30,000 in invoices, tool kit, jack, Jaguar Heritage Certificate and more! Simply put, this is one of the most well documented Series II Roadsters that we have ever had the pleasure of offering. We are proud to offer this stunning example to the most particular collector or enthusiast who appreciates superb documentation and excellent restored condition. HISTORY OF THE JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES II
Considered by many to be the quintessential British Sports Car, the Jaguar E-Type’s unveiling in 1961 caused a sensation both with the press and in the public eye. Admirers came from all walks of life; even Enzo Ferrari referred to it as “the most beautiful car ever made”. Beneath its gorgeous looks was a revolutionary sports car with rack and pinion steering, fully independent suspension, and four wheel disc brakes with inward rear rotors. All of this was propelled by the already proven performance of the XK engine. The Series II E-Type was released in 1968 and continued the trend of strong performance and handling mated with an iconic shape. Improvements were plentiful and included an increased grille opening to aid in cooling as well as a more refined interior that satisfied even the sportiest of drivers. All Series II E-types featured the larger 4.2 litre engine, which was good for over 240hp in U.S. specification. With further refinements, proven performance and stylish lines, it is no wonder why examples have become highly sought-after by classic Jaguar collectors and enthusiasts.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
