  • The magnificent 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 featured here is finished in a special ordered Burnt Orange over black interior. This incredible one-owner Boss 302 was delivered new at Castelli Ford to its first and only owner, a Ford employee and prominent Shelby/Boss collector. All original documentation, owner’s manual, service records, order form, build sheet and so much more accompany this one-of-a-kind Ford Mustang Boss 302. We are extremely proud to offer what we believe to be one of the very best, original, fully documented 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 to come to market in years. Special ordered color combination by Ford employee makes this Boss 302 only one of one produced! I personally believe the investment potential of this great American classic will grow beyond your imagination.

Ford’s performance machine, the Boss 302, was a direct competitor to Chevrolet’s Camaro Z/28: as it offered more performance on a reduced-weight chassis. It proved its worth on the track; winning the SCCA’s 1970 Trans-Am racing series, and was quite popular in the showroom, as it offered customers a vehicle that was just as comfortable on the road as it was on the track. In a comparison test in their February 1970 issue, Car and Driver further praised the Boss’s street manners, stating that “it is quiet and exudes quality, very much like an expensive European GT car. The stiff suspension and high shock absorber control give it a very purposeful feel, and because the body doesn’t quiver or rattle when you hit a bump, the overall impression is most satisfying.”

    High Retail Value
This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a “100 Point” or “# 1” vehicle *.* “100 Point” or “# 1” vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concourse judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate-regulated facility.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
