  • Considered by many to be the quintessential British Sports Car, the Jaguar E-Type’s unveiling in 1961 caused a sensation both with the press and in the public eye. Admirers came from all walks of life; even Enzo Ferrari referred to it as “the most beautiful car ever made”. Beneath its gorgeous looks was a revolutionary sports car with rack and pinion steering, fully independent suspension, and four wheel disc brakes with inward rear rotors that matched the already proven performance of the 3.8 litre XK engine. The Series II E-Type was released in 1968 and continued the trend of strong performance mated with an iconic shape. Improvements were plentiful and included an increased grill opening to aid in cooling as well as a more refined interior that still satisfied the sportiest of drivers. All Series II E-types featured the larger 4.2 litre engine; the most discerning owners ordered their cars with the factory options of power steering and air conditioning. The incredibly good looks with proven performance and racing heritage make the E-type one of the most coveted and sought-after British classics today.

The 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe featured here is finished in gorgeous Pale Primrose Yellow with an impeccably kept original black leather interior. This magnificent E-Type is one of the finest examples we have had the pleasure to offer in many years; in addition to its factory correct color combination, this beautiful classic Jaguar comes with factory air conditioning, a wood rimmed steering wheel, chrome wire wheels and a AM/FM stereo. It is accompanied by its owner’s manual, service passport, tools, Jaguar Heritage Certificate and more. Driven just 28,150 miles from new, this Jaguar E-Type Series II just might be the most original lowest mileage example to come on the market in years. We are pleased to offer this investment grade Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 to the most demanding collector, investor or enthusiast who desires the best. Ready to make an investment you can actually enjoy? Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
