  • The 1971 Jaguar E-type Series II Fixed Head Coupe featured here is finished in the stunning color of British Racing Green over a wonderful Biscuit leather interior. This particular example hails from the tail end of Series II E-type production and was completed at the factory in October 1970. A meticulous nut and bolt restoration was performed, with much of the work carried out by a respected vintage British motorcar specialist. Having only been driven approximately 3,000 miles since its restoration, this Series II Fixed Head Coupe presents wonderfully. The odometer displays a believed-to-be actual 52,373 miles and power still comes from the rebuilt numbers matching engine as confirmed by the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Additionally, this Series II E-type includes its owner’s manual, tool roll, jack, and nearly 20 years’ worth of receipts documenting much of the restoration and maintenance work. We are proud to offer this wonderful 1971 Jaguar Series II E-type Fixed Head Coupe to the most particular collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the legacy of this iconic British sports car. HISTORY OF THE JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES II
Considered by many to be the quintessential British Sports Car, the Jaguar E-Type’s unveiling in 1961 caused a sensation both with the press and in the public eye. Admirers came from all walks of life; even Enzo Ferrari referred to it as “the most beautiful car ever made”. Beneath its gorgeous looks was a revolutionary sports car with rack and pinion steering, fully independent suspension, and four wheel disc brakes with inward rear rotors. All of this was propelled by the already proven performance of the XK engine. The Series II E-Type was released in 1968 and continued the trend of strong performance and handling mated with an iconic shape. Improvements were plentiful and included an increased grille opening to aid in cooling as well as a more refined interior that satisfied even the sportiest of drivers. All Series II E-types featured the larger 4.2 litre engine, which was good for over 240hp in U.S. specification. With further refinements, proven performance and stylish lines, it is no wonder why Series II E-types have become one of the most sought-after models by classic Jaguar collectors and enthusiasts.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 5.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
