  • Porsche produced just 174 Carrera Targas for the American market in 1975. Cosmetically identical to Carreras sold in other markets, the U.S. version was fitted with an emissions-equipped, 165 bhp 2.7-liter engine with K-Jetronic fuel injection with power delivered through a Type 915 five-speed manual gearbox. G-series Carreras had flared front fenders and widened rear quarters to accommodate wider Fuchs forged alloy wheels and larger tires. Replacing the simple “burzel”, or ducktail, introduced on the 1973 RS 2.7, the 1975 Carrera’s rear spoiler was larger and rubber-edged. Its effect was balanced by a rubber front air dam. The new G-series cars also received new high-back driver and passenger seats and a leather-wrapped “Sports” steering wheel.

The 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa featured here is finished in the stunning, factory correct color combination of Grand Prix White over a Cinnamon interior. This particular example was purchased new by a respected Oklahoma surgeon who meticulously maintained the Porsche until his passing in 2016 when it was sold to its second owner, a meticulous collector. This 911 Carrera comes complete with its owner’s manual, spare tire pump, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service records as well as the original jack and tools that are still in the original Porsche plastic. The U.S. specification 911 Carrera Targa was the scarcest production 911 for 1975 and this example is one of the last five built for the model year. We are proud to offer this 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa to the most astute collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates low production numbers and excellent condition.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
