  • Considered by many to be the most appealing of the T-series Triumphs, the TR-6 was first brought to market in 1968. While the TR-6 was heavily influenced by its predecessor, the new model was extensively restyled by Karmann. Triumph upgraded the suspension and added wider 15” wheels that resulted in a leaner look with a lower stance and improved handling. Power was derived from a 2.5 litre straight-6 with twin carburetors that provided over 100hp. A walnut wood dash held the instruments and front disc brakes were a standard feature. A joy to drive both then and now, the TR-6 very often ranks high on British sports car lists. Their iconic style and sporty characteristics appeal to some of the most discerning drivers and collectors today!

The spectacular 1975 Triumph TR-6 Roadster featured here is finished in the stunning factory color combination of Carmine over a beige interior and matching beige folding convertible top. This particular example was sold new in September 1975 by Continental Cars in Little Rock, Arkansas and was the under the care of the original owner until 1986 when passed to its second owner. Since that time the TR-6 has been meticulously well maintained and sparingly driven having accrued only 43,787 miles since new! As one would expect with such a well-cared for example an incredible assortment of original documentation accompany the Triumph today, including the original handwritten dealer invoice, original owner’s manual, original service passport with service stamps, original customer vehicle delivery and more. The original numbers-matching 2.5-litre inline-6 cylinder engine is still in place and is documented by the original window sticker which is in excellent condition. Nearly 35 years of service records and invoices accompany the TR-6, documenting the meticulous amount of care that this Triumph has been subjected to from practically new. Simply put this is one of the best documented and lowest-mileage examples to be found on the market today and is sure to bring many years of enjoyment to its future caretaker. We are especially proud to offer this stunning Triumph TR-6 Roadster, from the penultimate year of production, to the most astute collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the performance of these proper British sports cars. Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Financing

Finance rates as low as 5.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
