1955 FORD THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE
Finished in gorgeous and factory-correct Thunderbird Blue and trimmed in turquoise and white interior, this first-year Thunderbird It has undergone a thorough high-cost restoration and is stunning from any angle. The first VIN assigned to a production Thunderbird was 100005 and this car is number 100104, making it among the first 100 Thunderbirds to ever be built. From the Thunderbird registry: “For 1955, the first 1000 Dearborn-built Ford VINs – 100001 through 101000 – were reserved for the new Thunderbird. All of these cars had the same 292 cubic-inch V-8 engine (P), all were 1955 models (5), all were built at Dearborn (F), and all were the same body series (H). Therefore we know that P5FH100001 through P5FH101000 constitute the correct and complete VIN list for the earliest-built Thunderbirds. After 101000 was assigned, those VINs given to Thunderbirds were random and drawn from the general pool as needed. Thunderbirds 100001 through 100004 were not actual assembly line production cars. P5FH100005 was in fact the very first Thunderbird to come off the assembly line. This Thunderbird, famous for its sentimental and real value was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2009 for $660,000. P5FH100005 is documented by Ford Motor Company as far back as the 1960s as being the first production Thunderbird.” This car also carries an “S” production code in place of the normal dealer code, meaning it was reserved by the factory as a demonstration and promotional vehicle. This incredibly unique Thunderbird also has a long California history as verified by the Thunderbird Registry. We are proud to offer this very distinguished classic Ford Thunderbird to the devoted enthusiast, or collector who recognizes the tremendous investment potential of this American classic. In fact, according to Knight Frank’s Wealth Report, classic cars were the top-performing collectible asset with prices surging 23-percent in the 12-months ending in the third quarter of 2012, and posting gains of 395-percent over 10-years. Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.
