  • TRULY ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC MOTORCARS IN THE WORLD TODAY!
  • A COLLECTOR’S DREAM!
  • Finished in stunning all black with a beautiful black leather interior in the front compartment, light blue cloth and leather in the rear, this iconic presidential limousine was one of three built by presidential coach builder, Hess & Eisenhardt. It went into service in August of 1962 for use by the Kennedy administration and other visiting dignitaries. It was also used through the Lyndon B. Johnson administration and retired in 1974 when it was then sold back to Ford Motor Company. It was subsequently purchased by Calvin S. Beauregard, former Ford executive and Manager of Public Affairs, Transportation Division. Having been in Mr. Beauregard’s care since new, it was right at home. The Beauregard’s eventually sold the car to their neighbor, Dr. Francois Theroux and remained in Arizona until purchased by the last owner. Like its sister cars, 424232 was equipped with presidential amenities such as rear center armrest telephone, front/rear seat partition with division glass, front chromed flag stanchions and the all-important flashing red headlamps. The wheelbase was extended to 131-inches and was powered by the 430 CID/300 HP V8 engine with 3-speed automatic transmission.

This motorcar has recently undergone a restoration and is now ready to join any prominent museum or collection. Truly an icon of American history, this rare and historic presidential limousine is among one of the most important and significant motorcars on the market today. The other limousine X-100, which Mr. Kennedy was riding in the tragic day of November 22, 1963 in Dallas, is now restored and in the Henry Ford museum and most likely will never be offered for sale. This is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a piece of motoring history. The 424232 presidential limousine was used in New York by President John F. Kennedy just 7-days before his assassination in Dallas, TX. It is said that this was his main limousine and that the famous bubbletop Lincoln that he was assassinated in was mainly used for parades. This Continental comes fully documented by Ford Motor Company and we are proud to offer it to the most sophisticated collector or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this historic piece of American history. Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013 and posting gains of 395-percent over the last 10-years. Ready to make an investment you can actually enjoy? Please contact one of our expert sale consultants for more information. They will be happy to give you a complete walk-around, supply you with a more detailed description, and answer any questions you may have. Bid with confidence; you will not be disappointed in this once-in-a-lifetime offer!

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
