  • The magnificent 1957 DeSoto Adventurer Sportsman Coupe featured here is finished in the stunning color combination of Adventurer Gold over a black body and Adventurer Gold sweep with a lovely black and gold interior. This particular example is one of only 1,650 built and in 1961 it was acquired by midwest drag racing legend Jerry Saar. Mr. Saar was a lifelong MOPAR enthusiast who assembled and raced several funny cars throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s.  Jerry and his brother, Ron Saar, built and opened Lee County Dragway in 1969, which they operated until 1988. Throughout their two decades of racing, Lee County Dragway hosted numerous A.H.R.A. and several N.H.R.A. events. Jerry Saar was known to use his black and gold Adventurer as a tow vehicle to pull his race cars to and from events at Lee County Dragway. Today, this DeSoto presents wonderfully with a mere 77,000 miles on the odometer. Several rare factory options adorn this Adventurer including air conditioning (not currently operable), AM radio with dual antennas and the seldom seen Highway HiFi in car record player. It was previously subjected to a sympathetic restoration and we are proud to offer this stunning 1957 DeSoto Adventurer Sportsman Coupe to the most particular investor, collector or enthusiast who appreciates the luxury and performance of this classic MOPAR. Ready to make an investment that you can actually enjoy? Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Financing

Finance rates as low as 5.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
